On the afternoon of July 21, the Signing Ceremony of 6 Biomedical Health Industry Projects, with a total investment of 5.6 billion yuan, was held in Jingzhou Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone (JETDZ). He Guangzhong, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony and delievered a speech.

The present were Zhou Zhihong, Vice Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, and municipla leaders Jiang Hong, Zhang Yuanmei, Liu Huiwen, Jin Peng. He addressed that, Jingzhou was deeply implementing the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech at the "July 1" Celebration and Importanant Speech Given by Provincial Secretary Ying Yong at the Investigation in Jingzhou.Centered around the new mission of "build a regional central city and create an important pole for Hubei's high-quality development", we should vigorously promote the development of industry, focus on the "6+1" leading industrial layout, and focus on cultivating energy, pharmaceutical chemical industries and other 100-billion yuan industries. The joint launching of 6 biomedical health industry projects by DSM ,TIPR and Nenter, to build a complete industrial chain, a comprehensive manufacturing base and integrated innovation center, which will definitely acclerate the development and growth of the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, as well as the industrialization in Jingzhou.

He noted that, Jingzhou’s development advantages will become more prominent and the development space will be broader, with the in-depth implementation of national and provincial strategies including the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the rise of the central region, the regional development layout of Hubei and the Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone.
